The domestic collaboration programs were particularly directed to stimulate science and technology development and to accelerate technology transfer to end users, especially private companies working in agriculture. With international institutions, collaboration was intended to gain access to the most recent and relevant methods and technologies produced by international research centers.

TIUs of ICARD had conducted a lot of collaborations national or international. The domestic partners included private companies, BUMN, local governments, universities, and other research institutions, and the international partners were: IAEA (Austria), ACIAR (Australia), AFACI, BEP, FAO etc. In order to disseminate and to socialize research results in livestock and veterinary, in 2015 monthly seminars were organized with speakers from TIUs within ICARD.

In the monthly seminars, research results and important issues pertinent to technology innovation were presented in order to inform stakeholders or relevant institutions for the acceleration of the diffusion of technology innovations.
